Almost EVERY ONE of us has been given the choice to make a change, BUT… if we Chose the status quo, our life has little Chance to Change.

Of course, our lives can be overwhelming at times; so before you get too stressed out here are a few tips that will help you and your family have a productive summer!

Start each day with one single goal in mind… PEACE OF MIND.

Peace of mind means FREEDOM
from ANGER, GUILT, and  FEAR!

Here is a question you can ask yourself, “What am I able to do today to nourish my mind, body, and spirit?  You may take a walk, make a phone call, go to the gym. It may be uncomfortable but try it anyway!

1. Eliminate BLAMING others….this will give you peace of mind by giving you control over your life which is what everyone seeks the most.

People pleasing and fitting in doesn’t work. You will be criticized anyway so be your authentic self it will lead you where you need to go.

2. Be in CONTROL of your life by working towards your goal.

This could be recognizing your negative self-talk and replace it with a positive affirmation, we always have the ability to chose another thought, why not create a list of qualities you like about yourself.

Do you know that 80% of what we think about who we are is negative?  Start noticing. Pay attention!! This CAN CHANGE!

3. BELIEVE

Talk to yourself like someone you love; “I can handle it…no matter what happens today.

It is a personal choice to take positive action!

“I am strong, and I can do this!”

“I know I am lovable and capable!”

“I believe I can do anything!”

Embrace self-compassion it allows us to have empathy for others.

4. SET GOALS

Everyone must have a goal-oriented plan in order to reach the goals they want to accomplish in life, here is how to get started:

Develop a plan to achieve your goal.

Make a specific timetable.

Write your goal down

Decide what commitment you will have to make.

Think about your goal every day.

Start a gratitude journal write at least once a day, it keeps our lives in perspective.

5. EVALUATE AND REFLECT

Evaluating and reflecting on your progress is crucial because you have the ability to change and adjust things for it to work specifically for you.

Someone recently said to me that “Happiness is an inside job; it is only up to me.

I believe that truly belonging to yourself you need to be willing to stand alone, it will be unpredictable when we are alone and searching but it will be the bravest thing you will ever do!

REMEMBER  The goal is to die with memories, not dreams..” – Unknown
